1. 認(rèn)識階段
面試不可能一開始就直接問問題，總是有一個彼此熟悉的過程。這時的問題可能會是：
Tell me about yourself.
Tell a bit about your undergraduate experience.
這時你可以做一個簡單的自我介紹，然后隨和的面試?yán)蠋熆赡軙湍阌幸粋€小小的聊天，比如他會和你介紹自己然后根據(jù)你的材料描述一下目前對你的了解。這是一個讓你熟悉的過程，同時盡量放松自己，準(zhǔn)備適應(yīng)接下來的回答狀態(tài)。
2. 提問階段
接下來就會開始就你的作品以及個人陳述提問。這時候的問題會分為兩個方向，第一，針對你的個人經(jīng)歷、思想、對事物的觀點提問，比如：
Why do you want to go into this field? Is art a passion for you?
Why are you interested in our college?
Who in your life has most influenced you?
Why do you want to major in …？
What will you contribute to our campus community?
What are your research interests?
What are your short-term and long-term career goals?
Tell me about how you achieved a significant accomplishment.
List some of your strengths and weaknesses.
Tell me about your hobbies and interests.
Where else have you applied?
Describe for me your more significant leadership experience. How have you effectively worked in a team situation?
Describe some important goals you have achieved.
Do you enjoy collaboration work? Working in teams?
Tell me the experience you interned in one company.
對于問題的回答，有以下幾點需要注意。首先，做了多少就說多少，要表現(xiàn)的自己思維清晰，有明確的計劃，知道自己下一步要做什么。老師不需要任何偉大的計劃或者理想，而是每一個決定都基于你上一步的決定以及下一步的計劃。其次，要盡量對學(xué)校有所了解，對學(xué)校的夸贊總是有一定好處的。比如大家可以先上官網(wǎng)去查一查你們專業(yè)的老師，他們在做的項目，他們最近的動態(tài)。在回答問題的時候與這些老師相關(guān)。最后，需要充分表現(xiàn)出你對這個專業(yè)的熱愛，任何事物都要從積極地方面來講。比如為什么喜歡一個東西，一定有來由并且愿意堅持下去。這樣才能從細(xì)致的地方打動面試官。
另一個問題的方向就是關(guān)于你的作品集。對于藝術(shù)類專業(yè)老師很重視學(xué)生在做作品集時的過程，包括你在這個過程中你都湊集了什么資料，做了什么研究，什么帶給你靈感等等。此外還有針對每個專業(yè)不同的一些專業(yè)知識，以考察學(xué)生對一些基礎(chǔ)知識的了解，這里我們以一些具體的專業(yè)問題為例。比如：
What do you see as the major trends in your field of study?
What software was used on portfolio pieces? Describe the printing process required?
How long have you been surfing the Internet? Do you feel comfortable with it? What are your favorite Websites?
Describe your process for generating design ideas for a project. I'm particularly interested in how you develop an understanding of audience, message, and purpose and then implement this understanding in your designs.
Tell me about this project if your portfolio
Why do you use these material at this project?
對于與專業(yè)相關(guān)的問題，主要還是看平時做東西時是不是有一個完整的思想。如果有就講述給面試官，讓他們了解你的特點與個性。
